Dayashankar's grand surrender plan spoiled by his 'close one'

Lucknow: Arrested former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dayashankar Singh’s plan of making his arrest heroic was foiled by someone ‘extremely close’ to him. Sources told newztrack.com, Singh’s whereabouts were revealed to the STF by the surveillance cell who traced his number which was provided to the investigating teams by someone known to the expelled leader.

It may be mentioned that after the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court refused to entertain his bail plea, the only option left with Dayashankar was to surrender.

But Singh was willing to turn his arrest grand by surrendering himself to police in the presence of hundreds of his party workers for apparent political gains. If sources are to be believed, BJP too was ready for the execution of Dayashankar’s plan but everything was ruined by one of his knowns who provided the STF team his active mobile number which he was using for communication while he was on a run from the police.
