CM Yogi directs officials to take necessary steps for Film Industry in Lucknow

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath discussed the need of strengthening the economy. He said that in order to encourage capital investment and increase new employment opportunities, important changes will be made in the policies established earlier in view of the needs and subsidies of investors. Also, while reviewing the policies, action should be taken by taking quick decisions regarding the amendments.

CM Yogi Adityanath was given a presentation on changes required in several policies, including the UP Film Policy, 2018, UP Solar Energy Policy, 2018, Biofuel Policy, 2018, UP Civil Aviation Policy in 2017 and the UP Electric Vehicle Manufacturing and Mobility Policy, 2019.

While directing the officials to initiate necessary steps for setting up processing units in Lucknow for encouraging film production and the film industry, the Chief Minister Yogi also asked for exploring the viability of building cinema halls and removing all hurdles for film production so as to create jobs and encourage investments. He has also asked to consider the possibilities of constructing a cinema hall of 100 audience capacity in rural areas of the state.

CM Yogi Adityanath gave similar suggestions for other policies like encouraging rooftop solar energy and biofuel plants for clean fuel among others. He supported the rooftop solar energy system and suggested to increase the number of rooftop solar system in the state.

He also added that Biofuel plants should be construct as it helps in improving the condition of environment and needs less fuel for production.
