BJP's Halla Bol rally turned out to be a 'selfie' occasion

Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) 'Halla Bol' rally to ‘gherao’ the Lucknow Vidhan Sabha was a flop show on Friday. The protest that was to target the ruling Samajwadi Party government over the law and order situation in the state, ended in just few minutes as workers were busy in uploading their selfies on social mediums rather than promoting the party’s agenda.

· BJP members assembled at the Vidhan Sabha

· The protest was against the rising crime graph in the Akhilesh Yadav ruled state

· BJP workers continued their protest for just 21 minutes

· Workers remained busy in clicking selfies with BJP leaders

· While BJP workers were clicking selfies on busy road, commuters had to wait until the traffic was freed

· Police charged batons on few protestors and also used water cannons to control the agitators
