Arunima Sinha was a National Level Volleyball player, who lost her legs as some robbers pushed her from train in 2011. But the lady never gave up and after recovery, she started climbing mountains. Her aim is to climb all the highest peaks of all the continents.

She has already climbed a couple of them, Everest in Asia, Kilimanjaro in Africa, Elbrus in Europe, Kosciuszko in Australia are amongst them to be named.

Amongst the winners in various categories were Mayank Awasthi (first position in 5 km male), Moqueetur Rahman (second position in 5 km male), Devesh Dubey (third position in male 5 km race). The third position in 5km race in Female category was bagged by Meenal Dwivedi Tripathi.

All the above are from Arun's Pathshala, a fitness group, who regularly performs running, cycling and cross fit training. They also put efforts to raise the awareness amongst Lucknowites, the needs and benefits of healthy living.
