Amid Lockdown Yogi Govt withdraws order to resume construction works

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended the lockdown till May 3 in the country, the Yogi government today withdrew its decision which said that in view of improving the economic system of the state and the convenience of the daily wagers, State govt will give them work.

Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended the lockdown till May 3 in the country, the Yogi government today withdrew its decision which said that in view of improving the economic system of the state and the convenience of the daily wagers, State govt will give them work.

11 committees were announced. Among these, the Deputy Chief Minister of the State Keshav Prasad Maurya has been made the chairman of the construction committee.

This committee was asked to consider the major construction work of expressways, highways, PWDs in the state, major construction works of other departments, where all the employees can work in one circle.

After this decision of the state government, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya had also ordered to start the work related to his department. But now all these decisions have been cancelled on behalf of the state government and it has been said that the works starting from April 15 should not be started.
