Akhlaq son submits a memorandum demanding quashing of FIR

Lucknow: Sartaj, the son of Akhlaq, who was lynched by a mob in Dadri over the suspicion of consuming beef, on Wednesday met additional director general for law and order Daljit Chaudhary, and demanded quashing of the FIR registered against their family.

He went along with his counsel Asad Ahmad and submitted a memorandum to Chaudhary saying the Dadri and Mathura reports were fake.

The son of slain Dadri lynching victim, in his memorandum claimed that, the reports of veterinary hospital of Dadri in Gautam Buddh Nagar and Mathura forensic lab did not match while the sample sent to Mathura was not sealed.

He even alleged that forensic test in the Mathura lab was done at the verbal instructions of police sub-inspector Tejpal Singh.

Earlier, a case was registered against the family members of Akhlaq on July 15 last on the o of Chief Judicial Magistrate of Noida.

It may be mentioned that Akhlaq was beaten to death by an enraged mob on September 28 last and 16 people including few minors were jailed in this case.
