Lucknow News: Capital Receives ₹3,666 Crore Gift, Defense Minister Inaugurates Several Projects

*Lucknow*: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has bestowed several projects upon Lucknow. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for numerous projects. The inauguration ceremony also witnessed the unveiling of testing centers and some institutions. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present alongside the Defense Minister.
Lucknow Receives 206 Projects
A program was organized at the Jupiter Hall of the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 206 projects worth ₹3,666 crore. All these projects are being initiated under the 'Developed India, Developed State' initiative. All the legislators of Lucknow and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak were also present on this occasion. Here, the Defense Minister also inaugurated several institutions.
Defense Minister Gifts the Capital
In the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony, the Defense Minister bestowed several gifts upon the city. During the ceremony, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences, and the Defense Technology and Testing Center. Along with this, preparations are underway to start light and sound shows at some parks and social places. Light and sound shows were inaugurated at Janeshwar Mishra Park, UP Darshan Park, Rajaram Park, Happiness Park, and National Inspiration Place.
206 Projects Worth ₹3,666 Crore
In the program, the Defense Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for many other projects related to Uttar Pradesh's development. Under the umbrella of Developed India, Developed Uttar Pradesh, the inauguration of 206 projects worth ₹3,666 crore has been done. The inauguration of these projects before the Lok Sabha elections is considered quite significant. It is worth mentioning that the inauguration of the projects done by the Defense Minister today will commence in the beginning of 2027.
