Fatehpur: The villagers of Khaga assembly constituency of the district boycotted the fourth phase of polling on Thursday to express anger over developmental issues. While booths 105 and 106 witnessed zero voting, booths 107 and 109 registered 9 and 8 voters respectively.

The electorate of village said that they were disappointed with the government over no developmental work being done in their village.

The angry voters stated, "since our votes do not benefit our own village, we have decided to boycott the assembly elections. The leaders we elect pay no heed to our necessities. We are still living in the same condition since past many years and now we have decided not to vote for any candidate.

Voting for six constituencies of the district namely Jahanabad, Bindki, Fatehpur, Ayah Shah, Husainganj and Khaga has been started and the results will be declared on March 11.
