SP leader found dead with slit throat in Kanpur

Kanpur: A Municipal Secratary of Samajwadi Party Radha Devi was found dead with slit throat in her residence in New Labour colony, near Babupurva Police station.

The family members have levelled charges against their neighbour and Samajwadi Party Yuvajan Sabha leaders Akhilesh Yadav and Sandeep Yadav for the same. The enraged family also pelted stones at neighbour’s home.

Police and forensic teams, however, reached the spot for investigation. “She died after her throat was slit. The investigation is on,” said police.

The dead body has been sent for the post-mortem.
