Madrassa students pray for India's victory in Indo-Pak match

Kanpur: Hundreds of pupils of Aljam-e-Atul Islamia Madrassa in Kanpur prayed for Indian team’s victory in the high voltage cricket match between India and Pakistan which is to be played on Saturday at Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.

The principal of the Madrassa Mohammad Hashim Ashrafi said that all the students want the Indian players to defeat the Pakistan cricket team and make India’s chests swelled with pride.

What Madrassa teachers and students say:

• “It makes us feel proud whenever our team defeats any other cricket team, especially Pakistan”, said Ashrafi.
• The students of the Madrassa said that they love watching cricket matches and so, they love the Indian cricket team.
