Green Park ready to host two IPL matches on May 19 and 21

Kanpur: The Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh will host two Indian Premier League (IPL) matches at the green park stadium on May 19 and 21, confirmed by IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla.

“The IPL governing body has given green signal for the matches at Green Park stadium,” said Shukla on Saturday and added, “Kanpur was already figured in the IPL schedule and it was almost finalized subject to the conditions of floodlights at the stadium.”

Highlights:

• Gujarat Lions will play two games against Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians on May 19 and 21 respectively.
• Both the matches will begin at 2000 hrs.
