No toilet, no marriage: Bride's courage gets her respect!

Kanpur: A Kanpur bride with all her courage decided to fight against the evil of society while refusing to marry a man for he did not have toilet at home.

Neha, a resident of Kanpur was supposed to marry Himanshu, another resident of the same city. On getting to know that her would be groom does not have toilet in his house she refused to marry the man and said that not having toilet at home shows the narrow mindedness of the family.

Neha, however, was not left alone and her courage led her to win heart of a local Sarvesh, who impressed by her thinking decided to marry her.

What did Sarvesh say:

• The man impressed by the girl's courage said that every girl shoul follow the footsteps of Neha and should stand for their rights.
• He stated that toilet and bathrooms are the basic necessity for every house and this narrow mindedness should be left behind in present time.
• Sarvesh appreciated the stand taken by the Kanpur girl and also promised to help her in these works.

Neha and Sarvesh tied knot on Monday, April 18 at DAV lawn under the blessings of their families.
