Four die, 15 injured after UPSRTC bus catches fire in Banda

Banda: At least four people were killed and 15 injured when a UPSRTC bus caught fire near Bhatha Jaspura Road under Jaspura police station in Banda.

Incident happened after the driver of the bus lost control over the steering and rammed into an electric pole.

People injured were rushed to the district hospital in Banda. At the time of incident, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was in Banda to review the performance of different departments including law and order situation of the district.

Adityanath expressed grief over the loss of lives and even visited the injured at the hospital.
