Congress compares Priyanka Gandhi with Goddess Durga

Lucknow: In an outrage to BJP leader Vinay Katiyar’s controversial remark over Priyanka Gandhi, the poster doing rounds on social media, ostensibly released by some Congress leaders have compared latter with Goddess Durga and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

The poster is also asking Vinay Katiyar of an apology for his objectionable comment.

The poster reads, “Veh Indira hai, veh durga hai, veh hai shakti ka avatar’.

Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi had slammed Katiyrar for his sexist remark. She had said that the statement of senior BJP leader presents his party in a poor light.

What Katiyar had said?

The BJP leader, on Wednesday, had said, “Unse jyada bohut see sundar mahilayen hai jo star campaigner hain” which translates to, “there are several artists and heroines who are more beautiful than her.”
