During his visit to Gorakhnath Temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek and conducted rituals, praying for the well-being of the people and the world. Believed to bring immense favor from Lord Shiva, the Rudrabhishek took place on the fourth day of the Krishna Paksha. In the Shakti Temple on the first floor of the monastery, CM Yogi offered Bilva leaves and lotus flowers to Lord Bholenath before performing the Rudrabhishek. The knowledgeable priests then completed the ritual by reciting the mantras from the Shukla Yajurveda's Rudrashtadhayayi. Following the Rudrabhishek, the Chief Minister conducted a Vedic recitation, a havan, and an aarti. After the ceremony, he extended his wishes for the well-being, happiness, prosperity, and peace of the state residents.

After completing the Rudrabhishek on Monday morning, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in cow service at Gorakhnath Temple's cow shelter. He personally checked the well-being of the cows, addressing them by names like Shyama, Gauri, Ganga, Bholanath, and fed them jaggery-rotis. Recognizing his distinctive voice, the cows approached him with excitement. CM Yogi affectionately patted their heads, enquired about the health and nutrition of all the cows from the shelter staff, and provided necessary instructions for their care, especially in this cold weather.
