Gorakhpur: Taking the poster war forward in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the 2017 Assembly polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Morcha on Sunday issued a fresh poster depicting senior BJP leader Yogi Adityanath as celebrated revolutionary Bhagat Singh.

The poster, which has been released just a day before the Independence Day, also portrays the Bharat Mata fastened with chain and each end is attached to the photographs of UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati, Peace Party president Dr Mohamed Ayub as well as Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

“UP can be Independent only after 2017 when Adityanath will take over the reins of the state as its CM. In his rule, ‘goondaism’ will be eradicated, Muslims will be esteemed and the state will embark on a journey to progress and development.

“UP will be free from all communal forces in Yogi’s rule and rapidly move towards development,” said BJP Minority Morcha Working Committee member Irfan Ahmad.

It may be mentioned that the BJP Minority Morcha has been consistently projecting Adityanath as UP’s chief ministerial face in its posters.
