BJP should be ashamed of making false promises: Azam Khan

Rampur: Senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan on Sunday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party's Uttar Pradesh election manifesto saying that the party should be ashamed of making such false promises to the people.

It is to tell you that on Saturday, BJP president Amit Shah released his party's manifesto, named 'Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra' (Pledge for People's Welfare), for the UP polls 2017.

"The people will not commit the same mistake they made in the Lok Sabha elections 2014 by casting their vote for the BJP. People now will never trust the party again as it ditched the people of the country by describing their poll promises as 'joomla' after coming to power at the Centre," added Azam Khan.

He claimed that the BJP candidates will come third or fourth in the UP election results.
