Powerful UP Minister Azam charged of converting his black money

Rampur: In a sensational allegation against Uttar Pradesh heavyweight Minister Mohd Azam Khan, it is said that he has converted his black money into white using his clout in the District Cooperative Bank in his native place Rampur.

A complaint in this regard has been lodged with the Prime Minister, Finance Minister and RBI Governor, his political detractor Faisal Lala, a Congress leader, has said that Azam had already done a lot of financial irregularities in his Jauhar University in Rampur and now he used his position to convert the currency in the cooperative bank branch of the University.

The charges against Azam

• Khan has asked the Chairman of the DCB Salim Qasim , a ruling Samajwadi Party leader, to send all money to University branch.
• He deposited all his black money in the DCB branch situated in University premises and transferred to jauhar trust.
• Thus he converted all his black money into white.

The complainant Faisal Lala has demanded the transaction of DCB should be checked since Novemeber 8 last when the demonetisation of old Rs 500 and rs 1000 currency notes was issued.

It may be recalled that Khan had been charged of using his position as Urban Development Minister and used a lot of government money for his Jauhar University.

Mohd Azam Khan was not available for his version.
