Amethi: Man slits throats of 11 family members, hangs himself

Amethi: In a sensational incident, 11 members of a family were found killed in Mahona Paschim village under bazaar Shukul Police station area of this district on Wednesday morning. The deceased included one male, two women and eight children.

According to police, the body of Jamaluddin, the head of the family, was found hanged in a room. Prime facie, it looked that Jamaluddin killed all the members of his family by slitting their necks and committed suicide.

The district police chief Santosh Kumar Singh and other senior officers rushed to the spot while the bodies had been sent for the post-mortem.
