Alld HC rejects petition against UPPSC chairman Anirudh Singh

Allahabad: The Allahabad high court on Friday dismissed a PIL filed against newly appointed chairman of U P Public Service Commission (UP PSC) , Anirudh. Singh Yadav.

The petition challenged the appointment of chairman on the ground that the state government is appointing a man of a particular caste on the post, ignoring others, eligible for the post.

The PIL was filed by Ziledar Singh of Fatehpur district. The bench consisting of Justice Krishna Murari and Justice Raghvendra Kumar dismissed the PIL, saying that the petitioner had not disclosed his full credentials and also pleading in the writ petition was baseless and that too without any evidence.

The allegation in the PIL was that what was the compelling circumstances, that the state government appointing a chairman one after another of a particular caste only.
