Allahabad-based school celebrates Chandra Shekhar Azad's birthday

Allahabad: The international team of Shiv Ganga Vidya Mandir celebrated the upcoming of birth anniversary of martyred freedom-fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad at Red Square in Moscow on Saturday.

It is to be mentioned that Azad was born on July 23, 1906 and died during India’s freedom struggle on February 27, 1931.

Russian society expressed solidarity with Shiv Ganga Vidya Mandir, an Allahabad-based educational institution, in celebrating birthday of the Indian revolutionary.

It is for the very first time when people from United States and Russia have come together to celebrate the birth anniversary of an Indian martyr.

According to the sources, intellectual groups from Canada, Poland, and Kazakhstan would also join the celebrations tomorrow.
