Vishva Hindu Parishad leader Arun Mahaur shot dead in Agra

Agra: In a broad day light crime, a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Arun Mahaur was shot dead on Thursday by unidentified bike borne assailants in Mantola area of Agra in Uttar Pradesh.

A manhunt has been launched by the police to nab the assailants, said police.

Mahaur was the district president of VHP in Agra.

The members of Hindu outfit roamed in the streets following the murder and even forced the shopkeepers to down their shutters.
