Uttar Pradesh government transfers 44 IAS, 6 PCS officers
Lucknow: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Yogi Adityanath government, on Thursday, transferred 44 officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) including Rajiv Kumar, who has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of the state.
State government has finally allotted departments to several IAS officers who were considered close to former state CM Akhilesh Yadav and were kept on wait list. The names include - Navneet Sehgal, Anita Singh, Rama Raman and Vijay Yadav.
