New Delhi: Keeping a keen eye on Test series against West Indies,limited-over’ skipper of the Indian Cricket Team Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Wednesday said spinners would play a crucial role in four Test matches of the tour.

“I believe the wickets will be slower in West Indies and the spinners will definitely have a crucial role to play in the series,” said Dhoni while talking to media persons in the national capital.

Other highlights:

  • Dhoni said he was pleased that the Indian Team currently had a pool of eight–ten real quick bowlers.
  • It has been almost two years since Dhoni quit playing Tests and he says he misses it but do not regret his decision.
  • The first match of the series will be played on Thursday at Sri Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
  • The match will start at 1930 hours.
