After analyzing 350 bones crucially, researchers from Hokkaido university have found out that this skeleton once belonged to herbivorous dinosaur, known as 'Hadrosaurid'.

Researchers unearth largest Dinosaur fossils weighing nearly 5 tons!!

Washington DC (USA): Scientists from Japan have unearthed a new species of Dinosaur whose weight is close to five tons and measures about eight meter long.

After analyzing 350 bones crucially, researchers from Hokkaido university have found out that this skeleton once belonged to herbivorous dinosaur, known as 'Hadrosaurid'.

Initially in year 2013, researchers found tail at Northern Japan, thereafter, they started excavating and found it underneath 72 million old marine deposit in the town of Mukawa.

According to recent study, these dinosaurs were spread across Asia and North America. During the Cretaceous period, they were connected by a route which is presently known as Alaska. It is also found that dinosaurs usually wandered near the sea.

Archaeologist have named this news specie as 'Kamuyasurus Japonicus'.
