Reliance Jio Prime membership registration deadline extended till April 15

Mumbai: In a delightful news for the Reliance Jio customers across the country, the company has ended Jio Prime service till April 15.

The move has been taken considering the enthusiasm of the users who were also facing problem in registering themselves as the Prime member of the Jio services on Friday, which was till the announcement the deadline for registration.

In an official statement, the company had revealed that over 72 million Jio customers had signed up for Jio Prime membership.

Confirming the news, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said, "Customers who could not register for Jio Prime by the previously announced deadline (March 31), will be allowed to do so by paying Rs 99 along with their first purchase of Jio's Rs 303 and other plans till April 15."

This extension will give the necessary breathing room to the users in avoiding service disruption during the transition from free to paid services, he added.
