Presidential polls: Murli Manohar meets top BJP, RSS leaders

New Delhi: Senior Bhartiya Janata Party leader Murli Mahar Joshi seems to have decided to join the race for the presidential post election for which will be held next year. Sources close to him say that he has already begun meeting top party and Rashtriya Swayamgsewak Sansgh (RSS) leaders and begun lobbying for support of his candidature.

He is believed to have met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 22 in this connection .He has also met the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at Nagpur in the first week of this month. Later, he called on some other orgnisation leaders in Mumbai.

The organisation may play an important role in the selection of the presidential candidate.
