Ahmedabad: With the end of second phase of polling in Gujarat Assembly elections, the Newstrack and Apna Bharat exit poll predicts that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is up for a big win in the state.

BJP: 113-132

Congress: 44-63

Others: 04-06

Total: 181

Area-wise Prediction:

Central Gujarat: 40 seats

BJP: 25-30

Congress: 10-14

South Gujarat: 35 Seats

BJP: 26-29

Congress: 6-8

North Gujarat: 53 Seats

BJP: 34-39

Congress: 15-17

Saurashtra and Kutch: 54 seats

BJP: 28-34

Congress: 13-24

Voting held in 93 assembly constituencies across 14 districts in northern and central regions of the state in the second phase of polling. There are 851 candidates in the fray.

Elections were being held in Banaskantha, Patan, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Dahod, Kheda, Anand, Vadodara and Chhota Udepur districts from 8 am to 5 pm. A total of 25,575 polling booths have been set up in 14,523 places and two crore voters were scheduled to practise their right to vote.

In the 2012 assembly elections, the BJP had won 115 seats and the Congress 61 while the others got six.
