Hillary may consider a woman for post of US Vice President

Washington: Presumed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton said she would consider ‘the most qualified people’ including women for the post of United States vice president.

"I am looking for the most qualified people including women, of course, as I want to make sure that whoever I pick should be capable enough to bear the responsibilities of the president in case of my absence -- and that, I Think, is the most important qualification," Clinton said in an interview to an American news channel.

Hillary clinched the Democratic Party's presidential nomination, becoming the first woman in America's 240-year history to be the presumptive nominee of a major US political party.
