New delhi: WhatsApp will soon be equipped with Dark Mode, Swipe Right To Reply features.

The popular social app WhatsApp may soon introduce new features for its vast number of users.

The Research and Development team of WhatsApp is said to working on features like 'Dark Mode' and a 'Swipe Right To Reply'for better user experience.

Dark Mode:

For bettering WhatsApp experience for users, WhatsApp is now working on 'Dark Mode' model. This long awaited feature will reduce the pressure on the eyes while using it at night or in the dark. Though no official announcement has been made by WhatsApp but 'WABetaInfo' has shared on its Insta account about Dark Mode. No timeline has been declared for its launch but it will be cool to use this feature.

Swipe Right To Reply:

WABetaInfo also revealed that WhatsApp is developing another cool feature 'Swipe Right To Reply'. WABetaInfo shared a GIF to show how this features work. The feature is in improvement stage for android users. It is already available for IOS users for quite sometime. It let user to quickly reply to a message using a swipe gesture. It will be better than the current available feature where one has to tap and hold the message to type a reply.

In this new Swipe to reply feature the message will be automatically loaded in the reply as user swipes the message.

Recently WhatsApp CEO Chris Daniels paid a visit to India and met IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad to address concerns involving fake news controversies and on its messaging platform which have led to many crimes such as mob-lynching.

IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad didn't forget to compliment Chris Daniels for what WhatsApp is capable to do as a mass medium of communication. He also told media, “I had a very productive meeting. I complimented him for extraordinary technological awakening that WhatsApp has led in the country, for education, healthcare, relief in Kerala. These are positive developments.”
