Saransk (Russia): A female reporter was sexually harassed, here, amid live broadcast of FIFA 2018 world cup in Russia.

Julieth Gonzalez, a sports correspondent, was groped and kissed by a stranger from the crowd, who was going inside the stadium to watch the football match, while she was reporting live from the venue.

It was a moment of shock for the lady correspondent when a man suddenly grabbed her breast and kissed her forcefully on the cheek.

Gonzalez, however, gathered herself again bravely and continued talking to the camera while the man disappeared into the crowd.

"I had been at the scene for two hours to prepare for the broadcast and there had been no interruptions. When we went live, this fan took advantage of the situation. But afterward, when I checked to see if he was still there, he was gone," she stated.

After posting the video on her Instagram account, Theran called for more respect for female journalists. "We do not deserve this treatment. We are equally as professional and deserving. I share the joy of football but we must identify the limits between affection and harassment," she wrote.

The man who harassed Theran has not been identified yet.
