Facebook down due to technical glitch

New Delhi: Social networking giant Facebook has encountered a technical glitch which has disabled its users to login to their accounts.

A message showing, 'incorrect password', is displayed whenever a user tries to sign in. Even the password reset function is not working.

The message reads, "the password you have entered is incorrect. Please try again."

The problem remained for around 20 minutes. Facebook was not accessible on all the platforms including Android mobile, iOS, iPad and even on desktop.

Few users also took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to express their inconvenience.
