Exit Polls: Modi magic prevails in Gujarat; BJP gets clear majority

Ahmedabad: All the big media houses and surveying organisations have released their exit polls for the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017, and all of them have claimed that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going to retain power in the state.

News Nation has given most number of seats to BJP (124-128), while India Today-Axis has predicted that BJP may fall anywhere between 99 to 113 seats.

It is worth mentioning that in the 182 strength Gujarat Assembly, 92 seats is the majority mark.

The two phased Gujarat Assembly polls concluded on Thursday evening and the result will be announced on December 18.
