New Delhi: Dawood Ibrahim, the fugitive Indian terrorist, is comfortably living in Pakistan with 21 aliases and three different addresses in Karachi, says a list of financial sanctions released by the United Kingdom.

It is worth mentioning that Dawood is the only 'Indian national' on the updated list of financial sanctions.

The underworld mafia boss has been listed in the UK Treasury departments Consolidated List of Financial Sanctions Targets in the UK which has been updated on August 21.

The 21 aliases of Dawood Ibrahim:

Abdul, Shaikh, Ismail; Abdul Aziz, Abdul Hamid; Abdul Rehman, Shaikh, Mohd, Ismail; Anis, Ibrahim, Shaikh, Mohd; Bhai, Bada; Bhai, Dawood; Bhai, Iqbal; Dilip, Aziz; Ebrahim, Dawood; Farooqi, Sheikh; Hasan, Kaskar, Dawood; Hassan, Dawood; Ibrahim, Anis; Ibrahim, Dowood, Hassan, Shaikh; Kaskar, Daud, Hasan, Shaikh, Ibrahim; Kaskar, Daud, Ibrahim, Memon; Kaskar, Dawood, Hasan, Ibrahim; Memon, Dawood, Ibrahim; Sabri, Dawood; Sahab, Haji; and Seth, Bada

The three addresses of Dawood Ibrahim:

  1. House No 37, 30th Street - Defence Housing Authority, Karachi, Pakistan; Noorabad, Karachi, Pakistan (Palatial bungalow in the hilly area); and White House, Near Saudi Mosque, Clifton, Karachi, Pakistan
  2. Noorabad, Karachi
  3. White House, Near Saudi Mosque, Clifton, Karachi

Till 2016, there was a fourth address too listed in the records, but this year, it has been removed. The address was listed as - House no.29, Margalla Road, F 6/2 Street no.22, Karachi, Pakistan.

The above mentioned addresses are in the name of "Kaskar Dawood Ibrahim".

His address in the UK financial sanctions list is recorded as Kher, Rathnagiri, Maharashtra. His nationality is mentioned as "Indian" with an Indian passport which was subsequently revoked by the government of India. The list has also mentioned a string of Indian and Pakistani passports acquired by him and misused.

The UK financial sanctions had first listed the name of Kaskar Dawood Ibrahim on November 7, 2003. It has recorded the name of Dawood's father as Sheikh Ibrahim Ali Kaskar, mother as Amina Bi and wife as Mehjabeen Shaikh.

It may be recalled that Ibrahim is the main accused in the 1993 serial bomb blasts case in Mumbai in which about 260 people lost their lives, and more than 700 suffered injuries.

He had left the country after the bombings and is believed to be hiding in Pakistan. The country, however, has been denying his presence repeatedly over and over again.
