Congress celebrates Happy Hawai Diwas in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur: While the Bharataiya Janata Party (BJP) is calling completion of two years in office at the Centre, as Vikash Parva, for the Congress it is Happy Hawai Diwas .

Congress workers led by Gorakhpur district secretary Anvar Husaain, celebrated the day by cutting a cake with ‘feku’ written on it.

Hawai Diwas:

• The cake cutting ceremony was held at Munshi Premchand Park.
• The cake was offered to animals.
• Congress workers displayed placards showing PM Modi on an aircraft.
• They even displayed posters of ‘Do Saal Nakaam’ and ‘Happy Hawai Diwas’.

What Congress says?

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spent these two years flying in aeroplanes. The promises made to public have not been fulfilled yet,” said Anvar Hussain.
