IPL 2016, RCBvsGL: Clash of devastating batting-line ups

Bengaluru: The stage, which is set to welcome the top two teams i.e. Gujarat Lions and Royal Challengers Bangalore will expect a high-octane game as it is the clash of the two most destructive batting line-ups.

Cricket fans will look for some fireworks from both batting sides in the first qualifier of IPL 2016 at the M.Chinnaswamy stadium on Tuesday.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

• Virat Kohli, who is on verge of creating a history by scoring 1000 runs in Indian Premiere League, is just 81 runs behind reaching the milestone.
• If the bat of Chris Gayle went friendly with the ball, then thunderstorm may hit Lions.
• AB de Villiers and KL Rahul have remained all time favourites for the side.
• The batting form of Shane Watson has demoralised the team at various occasions but his performance with the bowl is making his existence, count.
• Yuvzvendra Chahal, who has been selected in the Indian limited overs team for Zimbabwe tour is an important weapon of Captain Kohli.

Gujarat Lions:

• The team with long batting line-up like Brendon McCullum, Dwayne Smith, Aaron Finch, Skipper Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja is a powerhouse of smashers.
• If Brendon sets himself in, the cruel hitter will not leave any stone unturned to dishearten RCB weak bowling.
• Raina is a match-winner, who can change the batting gear at any time.
• Praveen Kumar, Dhawal Kulkarni and Jadeja have to tackle the RCB storm.
• Dwayne Smith could act as a surprise package for GL.

Both teams will focus on winning the following game as the winner will directly register their place in the finals. The losing team, however, has to play second qualifier against the winner of the eliminator to get themselves booked for the finals.
