CBI arrests Rajendra Kumar, PS of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: Rajendra Kumar, the Principal Secretary Arvind Kejriwal and four others others were arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday evening in an alleged corruption case.

The corruption case is to the tune of Rs 50 crore.

The prime investigation agency had raided Rajendra Kumar’s office in December last.

"Allegations are related to bribery and abuse of position against them. The probe is underway," CBI spokesperson RK Gaur told media.

There is a strong evidence of quid pro quo against Rajender Kumar and he along with four others will be produced in court on Tuesday.

Others who were arrested include Tarun Sharma (then assistant directorof the VAT dept), Sandeep Kumar (Owner of a private company which is front company of Rajender Kumar), Dinesh Gupta and Ashok Kumar.
