Allahabad: A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader from Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh namely Shyam Prakash Dwivedi has announced a reward of Rs one crore to anyone who slashes off Owaisi's tongue.

Calling All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asadussin Owaisi a renegade, the BJP leader said, “he has no right to stay in India and he should be thrashed out of the country.”

Watch the video below:

Rejecting Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) leader Mohan Bhagwat's suggestion of teaching pupils to chant ‘Bharat Mata ki jai’, the Member of Parliament from Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi, had said that he would never chant the slogan even if a knife was put to his throat. He had added that nowhere in the Constitution did it say that one should chant it.

Dwivedi took offence at Owaisi’s statement and said, "He is a traitor in my opinion and if he he is not comfortable chanting 'Bharat Mata ki jai', he does not deserve to stay back in the country. His tongue should be pulled out and anyone who does it, will be rewarded with Rs one crore.”
