Lucknow: On the occasion of PM Narendra Modi's birthday, we have compiled few unknown facts about the brillant orator.

1. When Modi was in school he had a habit of questioning his teachers in his school. Teachers usually get irriated by his act but was keen towards debating. Whenever he doesn't like anything he raises his voice to know the answer why it was happening.

2. When Modi was attending RSS’s shakhas, he was impressed by a person named Lakshman Rao Inamdar, whom he confesses is his mentor and guide. Whenever Modi had any problems at that point in his life, he used to approach him and disclose the problems to get the best possible solutions.

3. In the book, 'The Man of the Moment': Narendra Modi, the biographers MV Kamath and Kalindi Randeri said in the book that in 1956, when Rasikbhai Dave was organizing some Congress event in Vadnagar, Narendra Modi helped him as a volunteer. Modi has also worked with congress.

4.In his early age he was married to Jashodaben, at the time of Lok Sabah election he accepted that he was married to Jashodaben, though they never lived together but it's the biggest fact to mention. Jashodaben was a teacher by profession.

5. Born on 17 September 1950, Narendra Modi is the first ever Prime Minister to be born in an Independent India.

6. He joined BJP in 1987 and in the same year when BJP won Ahmedabad Municipal Elections, he was seen as the lucky charm of BJP and since then BJP has never lost the Municipal Elections in Ahmedabad. In the Ahmedabad Municipal Elections of the year 2000, BJP lost and ironically, Narendra Modi was outside of Gujarat at that time.

7. In the year 2005, USA denied visa to Narendra Modi citing his failure to curb the communal riots in 2002 in Gujarat.

8. In the year 2010, when Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, United Nations awarded Gujarat as the 2nd best state in the world.

9. During his 13 years of tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he never took even a single holiday. Such a workaholic!

10.Narendra Modi is considered as India’s most techno-savvy leader. He remains active on social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Linkedin, Sound Cloud, Weibo and other forums.

11.Narendra Modi undertook a three months course in the United States. There he studied image management and public relations. These courses eventually helped him refine his personality and impact as a great leader in India.
