Japanese two-wheeler maker Yamaha has launched its new bike FZS-Fi deluxe under the FZS-Fi range in the Indian market. The model has come as the top bike of this range. Introduced under the company's 'The Call of the Blue' initiative, the bike has been brought with a sporty look as well as an LCD instrument cluster and full-LED lights. The bike comes with an updated look

The new FZS-Fi model has been updated with several new features besides new styling. The bike is available in Matt Red, Matte Blue, Metallic Black, Solid Grey, and Metallic Deep Red Color option. On the other hand, muscular fuel tanks, step-up single-piece seats, side-mounted exhaust, engine guards, Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument clusters and full-LED lighting make this bike even more spectacular. Apart from this, deluxe variants also have dual-tone seats, colored alloy wheels, and LED turn indicators.

Strong Engine

Like the rest of the models in the FZS-Fi range, the deluxe model also has a 149cc single-cylinder engine that meets BS6 standards, generating maximum power of 12.2hp at 7,250rpm and peak torque of 13.3Nm at 5,500rpm. The bike has also been connected to a 5-speed gearbox for transmission. It has Bluetooth connectivity to protect the rider, which provides basic amenities such as call and SMS alerts as well as navigation.

These features are provided for security

The company has introduced several new safety features in the 2022 Yamaha FZS-Fi Deluxe to ensure rider safety. It has disc brakes on both front and back wheels with a single-channel anti-braking system (ABS) for better handling on the roads. In addition, the new Fi deluxe bike is fitted with telescopic forks at the front and seven steps adjustable mono cross units at the back, which help in better greeting on the road.

Yamaha's new bike comes at this price

Yamaha FZS-Fi deluxe bike has been launched for Rs 1.18 lakh and will start available at dealerships from the second week of January 2022. On the other hand, its base model has priced at Rs 1.03 lakh. Both these prices are ex-showroom. In India, the bike will compete with magnificent bikes like Bajaj Pulsar NS 160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Extreme 160R, Suzuki Gixxer, and Honda X-Blade.

The first model came in February last year

Yamaha launched 2021 models of FZ-Fi and FZS-Fi in the Indian market in February 2021 under this range. FZ-Fi has launched at a starting price of Rs 1.03 lakh in the country, while the starting price of FZS-Fi was kept at Rs 1.07 lakh. 2021 Yamaha FZ FI and FZS FI have a sloped tank, a step-up single-piece seat, and exhaust and both have 149cc air-cooled, fuel-injected engines.
