New Delhi: WhatsApp is finally rolling out the Global Audio Player feature for desktop users. Earlier, WhatsApp desktop users could pause or play the voice player while in the same chat window.

WhatsApp Latest Update:

Now, the newly rolled out update also allows desktop users to do other things between chats while listening to voice messages. Plus users can now switch between chats and listen to audio notes simultaneously. Users can switch to another window while listening to the voice message.

This feature is being rolled out in beta and will be rolling out to your desktop application soon. This will allow users to easily control and listen to the chat and voice player. Will also get rid of the hassle of having to go back from time to time to chat together.

Global Audio Player:

It was spotted and shared by WABetaInfo, a website that tracks the WhatsApp's latest feature. Earlier this feature was released by WhatsApp for Android users.

Along with this, the company is working on a feature that allows previewing voice messages before sending them. You can listen to the voice message first and edit it accordingly.

After this update, users will be able to listen to audio messages even after exiting the chat window. A review of the new version by WABetaInfo states that when we play a voice note and switch to another chat, WhatsApp audio doesn't stop and a new audio player bar appears at the bottom of the chat list. With the help of this audio player bar, users will be able to control the voice note easily.
