Google, one of the world's largest tech and software companies, recently sold 'potato chips' in Japan. The company not only sold Google Original Chips but also informed millions of users on the online platform itself. Google is also going to offer 'original chip' to users in its flagship smartphone Pixel 6 this year. Selling packets of potato chips was a special and unique way to promote the new Pixel 6 series and the new tensor chipset.

The Japanese connection of chips

The Android Authority report said Google sold packets of 10,000 potato chips in Japan to promote its new Pixel 6 series. Google Japan launched a website to sell packets of potato chips and also showed TV commercials. The company sold these chips in packets of different colors, which shows different color variants of Pixel 6 smartphones and Android 12 'Material You' color scheme.

Google's unique promotional strategy

On the promotional website, Google wrote, "Google's new chips have arrived. We will deliver fresh 'chips' to the first 10,000 people. On the same page, the company mentioned Google Pixel 6 and wrote below, "Google's new smartphone, Google Pixel 6, is coming. Ahead of the launch of Google's first smartphone with a genuine chip we have developed 'genuine chips' with which you will get the option to feel a new appeal as soon as you can. "

The video is on YouTube

The tech company also posted a video from its campaign on YouTube where a girl is seen eating Google potato chips in the same way as you use a smartphone. Holding the girl with a packet of chips like a phone, listening to music and charging it, as if it were a smartphone. The last few seconds of the video also show a glimpse of Google Original Chip and Pixel 6 smartphones.

Google's Tensor Chipset

In the new Pixel 6 series, Google is set to offer a custom-made original 'Tensor' chipset, which the company has teamed up with Samsung. Google CEO Sundar Pichai has also mentioned tenser processors at the company's Earnings Conference recently. Google's effort with the original chip will be to deliver better and optimized performance. Tell me, companies like Apple, Huawei, and Samsung also offer custom-made in-house chipsets on their devices.

Google Pixel 6 series gets a launch date

The recently revealed Google Pixel Duo's add-on shows 'Tuesday 19' written on the home screen, which has led to speculation that Pixel 6 may launch on October 19. The new device will come with the company's latest Android version Android 12.
