Toyota cars are loved in the country. Keeping this in mind, the giant Japanese automaker is soon to launch some of its best cars. It will also help the company grow its sales. The company is planning to launch five new cars including some brand new and facelifted models. Let us know about the cars that the company is going to launch.

Toyota Hilux: Price starting at around 30 million

Toyota Kirloskar Motor is soon to launch the Adventure Hilux pickup truck to expand its line-up in India. The car was recently spotted during testing. Toyota is expected to launch its pick-up truck this month. the 2498cc meeting BS6 standards is likely to be launched with a 2.4-litre diesel engine that will generate power of 150hp.

Toyota Rumion: Price starting at around 8 lakhs

Toyota is scheduled to launch its 7-seater Rumion in the Indian market this year. This is the rebadged version of Maruti Ertiga. It features a muscular bonnet, a horizontal slate grill made in chrome, a blacked-out air dam, and an attractive look with a power antenna. Toyota Rumion has a 1.5 litre K-series petrol engine that meets BS-6 standards that generate 105hp power and 138Nm peak torque.

Urban Cruiser Highrider: Price starts at around Rs 9 lakh

Toyota launched its luxurious Urban Cruiser SUV in India last year and now the company is all set to bring a new cruiser to the market. For this, the company has trademarked the new Urban Cruiser Highrider name. Coming to the powertrain, it will have a 1.5 litre petrol engine, which will generate 103bhp power and 138Nm torque.

Toyota Belta: Price ranges from Rs 9.16 lakh to Rs 14.60 lakh

Toyota will launch Maruti Ciaz's rebadge version (Belta) model in the Indian market. The car will replace the company's recently closed Yaris Sedan Toyota Belt BS6 a can be equipped with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, mild-hybrid petrol engine that generates 103hp power and 138Nm peak torque. The car can compete with Hyundai Verna and Honda City available in the Indian market.

Toyota RAV4 SUV: Price starting at around 9 million

Toyota's upcoming SUV RAV4 has been spotted several times during testing in India. The 2021 Toyota RAV4 has been built on the company's New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform. It features muscular bonnets as well as black-out multi-slate grills, a large air dam, and swept-back LED headlamps. The Toyota RAV4 will have a 2.5 litre natural esperated engine, which will be able to deliver maximum power of 222bhp.

Toyota to launch 30 electric vehicles by 2030

Toyota had also recently apprised of its plan because of the growing demand for electric vehicles. Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda said Toyota and Lexus are set to launch 16 electric vehicles (EV) in the future. The two companies have also planned to invest four trillion yen (approximately Rs 2,675 billion) in 30 electric vehicles by 2030. Many of their vehicles may be seen in the coming days.
