TikTok vs Mitron: Indians loving 'Swadeshi', 'Mitron' reaches 5M downloads

New Delhi: The world is fighting a battle against corona virus and in this time of Pandemic, PM Modi announced to be self dependent. After this Indians started boycotting Chinese products. In this series a high drop was seen in the ratings of Chinese App 'Tik Tok'.

An Indian app who exactly works as Tik tok was downloaded by Indians in last few days. Its popularity is at that level where about 50 lakh people downloaded the 'Mitron' launched in the last April. According to app intelligence firm Sensor Tower, the number of people downloading it has increased 4 times since the lockdown in the country. Along with this, Google has also given a rating of 4.7 to 'Mitron' app.

The 'Mitron' app is giving a tough competition to the Chinese Tik Tok app with its increasing consumer numbers and Google rating. Like Tiktok, this app also allows people to upload videos. IIT Roorkee pass out Shivank Aggarwal and his team of five members have created this app. Shivank and all his team members live in Bangalore.

The developer team of 'Mitron' has not taken financial help from anywhere to make it. Let us tell you that since the worldwide infection of the corona virus, the downfall of Chinese app Tik tok has decreased by 48% and has come down from 3.57 cMmrore to 1.85 crore.
