In India, Tata Motors had a lot of success with sales. With the support of its 'New Forever' series of automobiles, the business is now ranked third in terms of sales in India, with the potential to go up to second. The business has announced the launch of many new models in India, including both electric and fuel vehicles. So, let's take a look at the vehicles that the corporation plans to release this year.

Tata Punch Turbo Diesel and Petrol

Tata Punch has been on the market in India for a while and is doing quite well. The micro-SUV is now available with only one 1.2-litre petrol engine, but another engine may be available shortly. According to sources, the punch will be available with two new engines. It may be equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel or 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine.

Tata Altroz EV

By the end of next year, Tata Motors is expected to offer electrified versions of the Altroz in India. Dual-tone dashboards, power windows, automatic temperature control, parking sensors, and keyless entry are all options for the Altroz's interior. It will also have equipment such as twin front airbags, electronic brake distribution (EBD) with anti-lock brakes (ABS), rear parking sensors, speed alert system, seat belt reminder, and child seat mounts.

New Tata Nexon EV

Tata is currently working on a new variant of its electric car Nexon. According to media reports, the new Nexon EV will be launched by mid-2022 with a higher battery range. The new variant of Tata Nexon will have a 40-kWh battery pack for long distances which is kWh 30.2 in the current model. A new variant of Nexon has been seen testing on Indian roads.

CNG variants of Tata Tiago and Tigor

Tata Motors is scheduled to launch CNG variants of Tata Tiago and Tigor in January 2022 to strengthen itself in the passenger vehicle segment. Both the cars will be provided with the same engine. These include a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder revotron petrol engine capable of generating 86bhp power and 113Nm torque. Tata Motors is also planning to launch CNG options in its cars priced below Rs 10 lakh.

Tata Harrier Petrol

Tata Motors has been planning to launch the petrol version of Harrier for quite some time now. Currently, SUV is available with only 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engines. The car in this segment is well received and the launch of the new variant is believed to help the company boost its sales. According to reports, it may have a four-cylinder Turbo petrol engine.

Tata Nexon with Hybrid Engine

These days a new variant of Tata Nexon has been seen testing on Indian roads. A report said Tata Motors is working on a hybrid system for Nexon. It is estimated that it will be a hybrid petrol engine SUV. There is a possibility that the new Nexon may come with a mild-hybrid powertrain. However, it is also likely to be a CNG model.
