New Delhi: Oppo's Find X is a desperate attempt by Oppo to enter into premium flagship category of smart phone. Let's check out what could you look out for in this smartphone.

Find X is a dual SIM phone which offers elegant and smart design with bleeding edge technology. It has a Panoramic Arc Screen which is built by combining two seamless pieces of glasses which give the phone a panoramic view.

Find X has a 6.42 inch screen which comprises 93.8 percent of display, which is the highest achieved by any Smartphone. Find X is powered by snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM which is based on Android 8.1. It offers a non-removable 3730 mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge. VOOC Flash Charge technology allows the device to be charged from 0 to 100 percent in just 35 minutes.

Oppo ditched fingerprint recognition and have a facial recognition capability that rivals Apple’s iPhone X. Oppo claims O-face recognition is 20 times faster than fingerprint recognition. The O-face recognition has number of tools to add to its efficiency.

Find X's design, however, makes one wonder about primary and secondary camera which is not visible ordinarily. This is where it unleashes one of its kind pop-up mechanism or sliding structure which enables primary and secondary camera. This innovation adds to its elegant design.

But this sliding structure which contains motor mechanism is pretty fragile. God forbid but if you drop the phone and it lands wrong, or if you get too much dirt or dust in the area that contains motor, that mechanism is wrecked.

If the mechanism is toast, you won’t be able to use the camera or even unlock the phone with any biometric authentication until you pay to have it fixed. The sliding structure, however, has been tested 3,00,000 times but using protective case is another challenge. Where will you find a case that doesn’t block the camera mechanism?

And it also lacks 3.5 mm jack.

Expected release in India: August, 2018

Company has also launched its limited edition which is designed and developed in association with Italian carmaker Lamborghini. Limited edition is priced approximately 1,52,000 INR.
