Elon Musk, owner of Twitter, plans to rebuild the platform and indicated that he could create a 'super app' like China's WeChat.

He also said in a post on Twitter that ''soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and gradually all the birds''.

Musk also came out with his vision about the changed Twitter logo. He replied in the affirmative when asked, in a Twitter Spaces audio chat, if the Twitter logo would change. ''It should have been done a long time ago,'' he replied.

In another tweet, Musk said that if a ''good enough X logo is posted tonight, we will make go live worldwide''.

Twitter's website said that its current logo depicting a blue bird was its ''most recognizable asset'' and attributed it as the reason the company was so protective of the same.

That he had plans to rebuild the platform was hinted in April when Musk, while welcoming the new CEO Linda Yaccarino, had tweeted ''looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app''.
