Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, will soon be launching a new social media application 'Thread' to compete with the Twitter.

The App is being launched at a time when Twitter had already imposed many restrictions on the users on its platform.
What is Thread App?
It is an Instagram text based conversation app. It will provide users to follow those people whom they were following on Instagram. As simple if you follow a celebrity on your Instagram then you can follow them on this application also. With this you can put your Instagram user name as your thread’s id.
Recently, after putting restrictions on Twitter, Bluesky and Mastodon applications were gaining more popularity. Jack Dorsey who is the moderator of Bluesky and was co-founder of Twitter said that he watched heavy traffic on its application on Saturday.
