New Delhi: Of course, your smartphone hasn't yet gotten Android 12 upgrades, but leaks for Android 13, which is set to ship in 2022, are starting to emerge. Android Tiramisu, sometimes known as Android 13, might be the next mobile operating system. If Google sticks to its schedule, developer testing will start in February. Previously, certain screenshots and features of the new operating system have leaked.

The Android 13 version has been leaked in screenshots

A report by XDA developers has revealed several features based on screenshots associated with Android 13. The report said the changes were reported by a source associated with 'Early Access to Android 13 Build'. The report mentions four possible features in the new Android version, which will improve the performance of devices. Google may also make changes to some interfaces and layouts.

App notifications won't bother

Users in Android 13 will not be able to disturb notifications of a lot of apps. A screenshot shows users get a new option of notifications control in Privacy Settings' Properties Manager. Users will also be able to manage access to location, microphone camera, and media files for apps. In Android 13, users will be shown pop-up messages asking if they want to view notifications related to an app.

Different languages for different apps

Android 13 may come up with a new feature to ensure that users who speak different languages do not have difficulty in using Android. Users will be able to choose different languages for different apps. Google has included the 'App Language' category in system settings, where an app will show a list of supported languages and can be selected. For example, users will be able to use one app Hindi and the other in English.

Lock screen layout to be changed

With the new Android update, users will get the option to change the clock layout on the lock screen. So far, the clock is visible in the middle of the lock screen and is shown at the top when the notification arrives. In Android 13, users will be able to set fixed layouts in addition to viewing clocks in single-line layouts. The feature has already been available in Android 12L for devices with big screens in the recent past.

Better performance than The Android Resource Economy

In Android 13, Google can offer a system-level optimization and energy-use management feature. The feature is being considered as part of Google's new project The Android Resource Economy (TARE), which aims to give users full control over the device's resources. This feature will stop the process of some apps working with AlarmManager and JobScheduler. This will be done to save batteries and resources and the device will perform better.

About 88 percent of the total smartphones used in the world work on Android operating systems. More than two billion smart devices are working on it and are based on Linux kernels.
