Navigating the Deepfake Dangers: A Guide to Spotting and Avoiding Scams on Telegram

Telegram, a messaging network, has issued a significant upgrade to its users, which includes a slew of new features. Telegram has received an upgrade that includes the ability to capture video conversations and live streams inside the app. Aside from that, it has eight distinct chat themes that may be used. Additionally, new interactive emojis with full-screen effects have been added to the Telegram application.

Telegram blog revealed the new features

With the release of a blog post, the messaging app notified users about the new capabilities that are now accessible on the mobile app. It is possible to switch between the eight themes that Telegram has released by applying them to separate conversations. Every one of them comes with both day and night versions of the themes, and they all follow the night mode available in the app's settings. These include gradient message bubbles, dynamic backdrops, and unique background patterns.

Now you can change your chat themes

New features may already be available if you are using the most recent version of the Telegram client. When you are in the chat window, you may switch to a different theme by clicking on the chat header box and then tapping on the three dots symbol. The theme will be changed if you choose the 'Change Colours' option from this menu. Most importantly, as soon as you change the theme on your end, the receiver will begin to notice new themes as well, which is a good thing.

Full-Screen effects and animated emojis

With the most recent upgrades, the app now includes new animated emojis with full-screen effects, as well as new animated stickers. This time, it will be more enjoyable to express your feelings when talking with them. The best part is that these animations and vibrations will be played simultaneously on both the talking sender's and receiver's smartphones! As far as I know, the app already allows users to send animated stickers and emoticons in huge sizes.

Live stream recording option is now available

As a result of the latest update, users now can record a live stream or video chat from inside the application. In the course of a video chat or live stream, this option will be accessible for use. In addition, once the message has been read by all of the group members, double ticks will now appear in front of the message to indicate that it has been viewed by everyone. Users will be able to view which members of a group have read and which members have not read a message sent by the group administrator.

India is having the maximum number of Telegram users

Even though Telegram has been downloaded more than a billion times globally, censor towers have recently exchanged data on the service. The instant messaging software, which was launched in 2013, is now a direct competitor to Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, respectively. WhatsApp's userbase grew quickly as a result of the company's privacy policy change and the ensuing legal battle. The Sensor Tower reports that the Indian online market for telegrams remains the biggest.
